Ê1.3a - Station for time-resolved small-angle diffraction X-RAY MOVIE (DICSI)
The small-angle station DICSI is dedicated to research of the dynamics of medico-biological objects by monochromatic X-rays with the use of high-speed diffraction methods in wide angular range.
X-ray optical scheme
DICSI parameters
| Energy range, keV | 5 ÷ 12,5; |
| Wavelength resolution, (Dl/l) | 10-3 ÷ 10-4 |
| Angular resolution, rad | 10-4 |
| Diffractogram registration range: | |
| - for the structure of molecular level, nm | 1,0 ÷ 100,0 |
| - for the structure of subcellular level, µm | 1,0 ÷ 4,0 |
| Optical magnification range | 0,17õ ÷ 0,38õ |
Status - 2005
- Experimental schemes for wide class of medico-biological objects are under development and testing. Configuration of the basic scheme is based on SR-beam focusing with crystal-monochromator (in sagittal plane) and total reflecting mirror behind (focusing in meridional plane).
- The systems for registration of X-ray diffraction patterns are based on the use of one-coordinate fast detector (OD-3 type, 10 MHz), two-coordinate systems for imaging with the use of CCD and/or CMOS-sensors and storage screens with posterior readout (Image plate - detectors).
