D'4.2 - Station for condensed matter spectroscopy (SPECTR)
The station is dedicated for study of the optical characteristics of the wide-gap semiconductors and insulators.
Two experimental settings are realized: the normal incidence Seya-Namioka setup (SN, a) and grazing setup (TGM, b).
| SN | TGM |
| Energy region | 3-40 eV (300-4000 Å) | 30-200 eV (60-400 Å) |
| Resolution | 103 | 102 |
| Slit width | 0,1 mm | 0,2 mm |
| Flux, s-1 | 109 | 108 |
D - aperture diaphragm;
M1, M2, M3, M4 - focusing mirrors;
S', S'' - entrance slit; S - exit slit;
G', G'' - diffraction grating;
F - filter bank
The size of the focused light spot on sample is 1×1 mm2.
Samples: thin films on substrates (Ø10 mm), crystals.
The station is equipped with the ultrahigh vacuum system, providing vacuum no worth than 10-7 Pa.
Station is controlled by the experiment automatization system on the basis of module system CAMAC.
