Source

The radiation source of the KCSRNT is a dedicated accelerating-storage complex comprising a linear accelerator, a small storage ring «Siberia-1», which is both a booster synchrotron injector of electrons for the high-energy storage ring and simultaneously a source of radiation in the VUV and soft X-ray ranges, and the large storage ring «Siberia-2», which is a source of X-ray radiation. The source provides the synchrotron radiation in the wavelength range extending from 0.1 to 2000 Å.
